CHON BURI: A severely agitated Finnish man who assaulted himself repeatedly with a knife, inflicting bloody cuts, was overpowered after which taken to hospital, in Pattaya early Tuesday morning.
Pattaya police and rescuers went to an condo constructing in Soi Bua Khao in tambon Nong Prue of Bang Lamung district about 3.36am, responding to stories of a frenzied foreigner loudly assaulting himself inside his room. Different residents of the constructing had been unnerved by his actions.
The agitated man, recognized as Kontiainen Eeuoskari, 29, from Finland, was nonetheless inside his room on the third ground once they arrived. Loud noises had been emanating from the room.
Police requested a safety guard to open the door and entered the room. Shortly afterwards, they overpowered the ranting man.
Police mentioned the person’s belongings had been scattered all around the room, and there have been blood stains on the ground. He had knife wounds to his face and proper shoulder.
The person was given first help after which taken to hospital.
No one knew what drove him to go wild. He seemed absent-minded and gave conflicting remarks. He was being handled at Bang Lamung Hospital.
No different folks had been injured. The one different injury was to property contained in the room.
Police had been investigating.
