The Ministry of Increased Schooling, Science, Analysis, and Innovation (MHESI) has launched three insurance policies geared toward making Thailand the largest EV manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia.
Minister Supamas Isarabhakdi outlined the insurance policies: growing expert staff, growing EV utilization, and supporting analysis and growth.
“We’re assured that these insurance policies will play an important function in making Thailand the biggest EV manufacturing hub within the Southeast Asian area and reaching the federal government’s aim of lowering car emissions by 30% throughout the subsequent 5 years,” she stated.
Ms Supamas recognised some challenges.
“Thailand doesn’t have a large enough workforce to affix the EV business, and this can be a large drawback,” she stated.

Ms Supamas stated that by 2030, the federal government goals to cut back carbon emissions by 30%.
