Appears to be like like Beyoncé received the message —and Dolly Parton received her want.
In a 2022 interview with Trevor Noah on The Each day Present, Parton was requested about her want to have the “Renaissance” singer cowl her iconic tune “Jolene.”
“I do not know if she’s even received the message, however would not that be killer?” Parton says within the interview. “I’d simply love to listen to ‘Jolene’ finished in only a huge method, form of like how Whitney [Houston] did my ‘I Will All the time Love You.’ Simply somebody that may take my little songs and make them powerhouses.”
Beyoncé’s album “Cowboy Carter” arrived Friday, with Parton herself showing on an interlude previous the duvet of “Jolene.”

Parton appeared to be happy with the modifications, taking to social media once more Friday to say “Beyoncé is giving that woman some bother and he or she deserves it!”
