Edmonton police investigate collision, pedestrian struck by semi-truck – Edmonton

The Edmonton Police Service is investigating a collision that concerned a pedestrian and semi-truck on Calgary Path early Saturday morning.

Police mentioned the truck was travelling southbound on Calgary Path when it struck a pedestrian south of 31 Avenue at round 3:30 a.m.

“A male abruptly ran out into the street in entrance of the semi,” police mentioned. The tractor-trailer tried to brake however was unable to cease in time and struck the pedestrian,” an Edmonton Police information launch said Saturday.
