New Delhi: Edtech unicorn PhysicsWallah (PW) registered an enormous 91 per cent plunge in its revenue within the fiscal 12 months that ended March 31, 2023.
The Alakh Pandey-led firm noticed its internet revenue nosedive to Rs 8.9 crore within the monetary 12 months 2022-23 (FY23) from Rs 98.2 crore in FY22, owing to an increase in its bills, based on a report in main startup information portal Inc42.
PhysicsWallah’s working income elevated 234 per cent to Rs 779.3 crore in FY23 from Rs 233 crore in FY22.
The startup’s complete income stood at Rs 804.6 crore in FY23, a 243 per cent improve from Rs 234.6 crore in FY22.
The corporate noticed its complete expenditure improve an enormous 671 per cent to Rs 794.5 crore in FY23 from Rs 103.1 crore in FY22, based on the report.
PW spent Rs 413.8 crore on worker advantages in FY23, an enormous 878 per cent hike from Rs 42.3 crore within the earlier fiscal 12 months.
The edtech unicorn has been increasing its choices aggressively over the past couple of years.
