Fired Boeing CEO is now working with Bay Area tractor startup

The previous CEO of Boeing, who was fired within the wake of two lethal airplane crashes, is now working with a Silicon Valley tractor startup hoping to be the “Tesla Inc. of the agriculture world,” Bloomberg reported.

Dennis Muilenburg was a 35-year veteran of Boeing when two of the corporate’s new 737 Max planes crashed in 2018 and 2019, killing 346 individuals. The 737 Max was grounded worldwide as investigations befell, finally costing Boeing billions in misplaced income and compensation to victims’ households. Muilenburg was fired in December 2019 as investigations confirmed Boeing rushed by approvals to get their new airplane mannequin within the sky. Boeing declined to pay Muilenburg severance.
