GIC buys units in Data Infrastructure Trust for Rs 933 cr via open market

Singaporean sovereign wealth GIC on Tuesday purchased models in Information Infrastructure Belief for Rs 933 crore by an open market transaction.


GIC by its wholly-owned subsidiary Anahera Investments Pte bought 6.06 crore models of Information Infrastructure Belief (DIT) on the BSE.


Information Infrastructure Belief (DIT) is a Sebi-registered Infrastructure Funding Belief (InvIT) that gives passive telecom infrastructure companies.


Based on the majority deal knowledge out there with the BSE, Anahera Investments Pte Ltd acquired 60,600,000 models, amounting to a 2.33 per cent of whole models in DIT.


The models have been picked at a mean value of Rs 153.95 apiece, taking the transaction worth to Rs 932.94 crore.


In the meantime, non-public sector lender Axis Financial institution offered the identical variety of models on the similar value.


The unit of Information Infrastructure Belief gained 0.69 per cent to shut at Rs 153.95 apiece on the BSE.
