A Cape Elizabeth man was killed Tuesday when his automobile crossed the centerline on Forest Avenue in Portland and hit one other automobile head-on.
Portland police have been known as to the crash at 1808 Forest Ave. on Tuesday at about 1:16 p.m.
Witnesses reported seeing a automobile pushed by a 62-year-old man from Cape Elizabeth cross the centerline of Forest Avenue and hit one other automobile head on. First responders have been unable to resuscitate the person, whose identify is being withheld till his subsequent of kin is contacted, and he was pronounced lifeless on the scene, in keeping with Portland police.
The motive force of the second automobile, a 35-year-old South Portland man, was delivered to Maine Medical Middle with damaged bones however no life-threatening accidents.
The street reopened at about 5:30. Police haven’t pressed expenses.
