READFIELD, Maine — Snowy and icy roads are making for unsafe circumstances after a spring storm hit Maine Saturday.
Maine State Police issued a warning to drivers after they are saying they’ve responded to about 130 crashes and slide-offs on Maine roads.
Together with a crash on Beaver Dam Highway in Readfield between a choose up truck and a plow truck.
Authorities say round 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the choose up truck driver misplaced management and crashed head-on with the plow truck, and crashed into an inlet of Maranacook Lake.
Police say the driving force helped themselves out of the truck and nobody was injured.
Officers say only some of the crashes they responded to reported minor accidents.
