India is cosponsoring with the US a Normal Meeting decision that requires selling “protected, safe and reliable synthetic intelligence programs” and “bridging the synthetic intelligence and different digital divides between and inside international locations”.
Amid rising world issues about risks to society, politics and economies from AI, the proposed decision, a draft of which was seen by IANS, emphasises taking steps in opposition to the misuse of the system and stopping vulnerabilities and dangers.
The draft suggests selling “innovation for the internationally interoperable identification, classification, analysis, testing, prevention and mitigation of vulnerabilities and dangers through the design and improvement, and previous to deployment and use of synthetic intelligence system”.
It will encourage the “incorporation of suggestions mechanisms to permit evidence-based discovery and reporting by end-users and third events of technical vulnerabilities and, as acceptable, misuses of synthetic intelligence programs and synthetic intelligence”.
