Days after he raised the difficulty of eight Haryana youths caught in Russia, Congress chief Randeep Singh Surjewala Saturday, 13 April stated the Ministry of Exterior Affairs has knowledgeable him that the Indian embassy in Moscow has raised the matter with authorities there.
Surjewala stated he had written to Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on 7 April, looking for his intervention to make sure the protected return of the eight kids caught in war-torn Ukraine.
The Congress Rajya Sabha MP stated he acquired a reply from the ministry on 12 April which acknowledged that the Indian embassy in Moscow has taken up the matter with the Russian authorities involved.
