Mostafa Waziry, SCA’s secretary-general, reported that the staff successfully polished the columns, eliminating collected sand and dirt to disclose the unique engravings and colours. The restoration adhered to international conservation requirements, with the second part promptly commencing upon finishing the primary.
“For the primary time, guests of the Karnak’s Hypostyle Corridor will be capable of admire its unique surroundings,” Waziry advised Al-Ahram.
