Kim Kardashian is saying goodbye to her late aunt Karen Houghton.
Kardashian, 43, shared a collection of throwback pictures of Houghton through Instagram on Thursday, March 21. “🕊️I really like you a lot auntie Karen🕊,” the truth star captioned her put up.
One snap confirmed a younger Kim and older sister Kourtney Kardashian sitting with Houghton, whereas one other pic confirmed Kim posing along with her aunt in entrance of a Christmas tree. In a single photograph, Houghton stood along with her mom, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon, and Kim’s mother and father, Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian.
Houghton, Jenner’s youthful sister, died on Monday, March 18, at age 65. A reason for dying has not been revealed.
“It’s with the heaviest coronary heart and deepest disappointment that I share that my sister Karen handed away yesterday unexpectedly,” Jenner, 68, wrote through Instagram on Tuesday, March 19. “My coronary heart aches for my mother MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us all by this troublesome time.”
Jenner went on to name her sibling “stunning in and out” and the “sweetest, kindest, essentially the most delicate and weak and so so humorous” individual.
“She at all times felt grateful and grateful for her life and treasured her household and mates and particularly her stunning daughter,” the truth mogul continued. “Karen’s passing is a reminder that life is so brief and valuable, and tomorrow isn’t promised. We should inform these we cherish how a lot we love them. I really like you my stunning sister.”
Houghton’s daughter, Natalie Zettel, shared an Instagram tribute to her mother someday later.
“Expensive Mommy, I can’t imagine [you’re] gone,” Zettel wrote on Wednesday, March 20. “This doesn’t even really feel actual. I preserve hoping that I’ll get to hug you or kiss you or hear your voice one final time. You had been my greatest good friend, my every little thing. The most effective mom a daughter may ever ask for and I’m so grateful to have had a mom such as you.”
Zettel’s message was accompanied by a collection of throwback pictures of Houghton, together with certainly one of her cradling her daughter simply minutes after she was born.

Karen and Jenner are the one kids of Shannon, 89, and her husband, Robert “Bob” Houghton. Bob died in 1975.
