Long Island fire: Neighbor rushes to save teen from burning home in Sayville

SAYVILLE, Lengthy Island (WABC) — An adolescent on Lengthy Island is alive due to his heroic neighbor – somebody who he did not even know.

Andrew Spitzfaden was in his second-floor bed room on Astor Drive in Sayville when he heard crackling and popping sounds.

Spitzfaden was trapped. There was an excessive amount of smoke to go downstairs and he was too removed from the bottom to leap. A neighbor seen the smoke and came to visit.

Richard Mosback may see Spitzfaden on the second flooring, so he ran to his home and introduced over a ladder so he may make it down – and he did simply in time.
