A person in his 80s has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a cliff in Victoria’s Yarra Ranges.
The person is known to have been on the Keppel Lookout close to Marysville, about 100 kilometres northeast of Melbourne, when he fell.
He plunged greater than 10 metres to the bottom of the cliff.
4 emergency staff rappelled to the place the person lay earlier than offering first help.
He suffered a gash to his head together with pelvic accidents.
Paramedics strapped the person to a stretcher earlier than he and an emergency employee have been winched to an ambulance helicopter.
He was flown to the Alfred Hospital, the place he’s receiving therapy for non-life threatening accidents.
The top wound is being handled as severe as a result of man’s age.
Authorities word that the path to the lookout incorporates tough terrain.
“Essentially the most difficult path within the space, the Keppel Lookout Path is pretty uneven and steep in locations,” Go to Melbourne warns guests.
“Put on sturdy footwear and carry water and snacks.”
