Feb. 5 (UPI) — Max introduced Monday that the fifth episode of True Detective: Evening Nation will premiere on the streaming service Friday at 9 p.m. EST. The episode airs on HBO as common Sunday at 9 p.m. This can be a one-time-only early premiere. The season finale nonetheless will debut concurrently on HBO and Max at 9 p.m. EST Feb. 18.
True Detective: Evening Nation is the fourth season of the detective anthology. Jodie Foster and Kali Reis star as two Alaskan detectives investigating a mass frozen grave.
Issa López wrote and directed Evening Nation. Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, John Hawkes, Isabella LaBlanc, Christopher Eccleston and extra additionally star.
