Two teens charged with murdering Garinger high school student

Two youngsters have been arrested in reference to the deadly taking pictures of a 17-year-old boy in east Charlotte final month, in response to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Division.

On January 16, police responded to an assault with a lethal weapon name at a house on Audrey Avenue.

On the scene, 17-year-old Daikwan Jedarren Deese was pronounced deceased from gunshot wounds. He attended Garinger Excessive Faculty.

On February 29, police introduced that two juveniles, a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, had been arrested on this case.

The 17-year-old has been charged with homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide, assault with a lethal weapon with the intent to kill or inflict severe damage, and conspiracy to commit assault with a lethal weapon with the intent to kill or inflict severe damage.

The 16-year-old has additionally been charged with homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide, and conspiracy to commit assault with a lethal weapon with the intent to kill or inflict severe damage.

Each teenagers are being held on the juvenile detention facility in Cabarrus County.
