Ukrainian forces say they’ve destroyed a Russian Navy touchdown ship off the occupied peninsula of Crimea within the Black Sea.
A Ukrainian information outlet revealed a number of movies exhibiting a column of smoke rising over the ocean off the southern coast of Crimea, in addition to helicopters flying over the ocean.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces, along with the Defence Ministry’s intelligence unit, destroyed the Tsezar Kunikov giant touchdown ship. It was in Ukrainian territorial waters close to Alupka on the time of the hit,” the navy stated on the Telegram messaging app on Wednesday.
There was no rapid remark from Russia, which stated earlier that it had destroyed six drones within the Black Sea.
The Ukrainian navy intelligence company stated the Russian warship had been attacked with naval drones.
Ukraine has used uncrewed navy drones filled with explosives to assault Russian warships to attempt to drive them out of the western components of the Black Sea, making it potential to open a delivery hall alongside a historically key export route.
In December, Ukrainian cruise missiles struck one other giant Russian touchdown warship in Crimea.
