ORANGE COUNTY, New York (WABC) — A number of accidents had been reported after a United Airways flight headed to Newark Worldwide Airport in New Jersey was diverted to an airport in Orange County, New York on Friday.
Over 300 passengers and crew members had been aboard United Airways Flight 85 from Tel Aviv to Newark when it was diverted to Stewart Worldwide Airport round 6:45 p.m., after the crew reported a passenger medical emergency, in line with the FAA.
When New Windsor EMS arrived, they are saying they encountered a number of sufferers who had been complaining of nausea, vomiting, nervousness and movement illness.
Seven passengers had been taken to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall with minor accidents.
It stays unknown if the remaining passengers are busing or flying to Newark Airport.
