RunDisney Marathon Experience Disney World 2024

Once I obtained to the park, I noticed people of all ages and talents lined up and able to race. There have been households and buddy teams dressed as The Incredibles, skillfully styled Mickey Mouse ears and operating caps, Marvel superheroes, and plenty of, many princesses. (Additionally: One very fabulous Edna Mode, black bob wig and all.) It was pitch darkish in the beginning line within the wee hours of the morning, however the vibe was electrical. Fireworks illuminated the sky to sign teams’ taking off, and after operating via Epcot’s variations of France, Italy, Morocco, Japan, and China — all in a morning’s work! — I completed my race in slightly below half an hour. Runners have been greeted on the end line with Disney-branded mylar blankets, Powerade, and loads of snacks to refuel. Strangers high-fived one another, and as I ate my free banana, I watched as folks complimented fellow racers’ outfits and took sweaty selfies.
