The Naval Undersea Warfare Heart (NUWC) Division Newport lately awarded Ceremony-Options a $88.6 million three-year contract to assist NUWC’s Undersea Warfare Electromagnetic Techniques Division (Code 34).
The total and open contract is the most important the corporate has obtained. “This can be a milestone for the corporate,” says Joe Marino, Ceremony-Options co-founder and CEO. “We’re proud that NUWC Code 34 has entrusted Ceremony-Options with this critically vital program.”
Because the prime contractor, working with 13 subcontractors, the corporate will present engineering and technical experience to enhance current Imaging and Electromagnetic Warfare (I&EW) programs and develop new I&EW programs and capabilities.
“The Navy makes use of components of the electromagnetic spectrum, together with radio waves, microwaves, x-rays, and gamma rays to detect adversaries and their communications,” explains Laura Deady, Senior Vice President of Engineering Companies at Ceremony-Options. “The targets of I&EW are to, primarily, shield our sailors and to intervene with adversaries’ communications.”
Ceremony-Options will carry out design, improvement, testing, evaluation, integration, and set up companies for brand spanking new I&EW programs and preserve, troubleshoot, restore, improve, and modernize legacy programs.
